Beata Geddes is a Clinical Psychologist specialising in GENDER DYSPHORIA in people over 18 years of age.

As a member of ANZPATH* and WPATH**, Beata conducts clinical assessments of those wishing to commence feminising/masculinising hormonal treatment, or planning to undergo sex reassignment, mastectomy or other forms of surgery meant to align their physical appearance with their gender identity.

With over 20 years’ experience in psychological therapy and counselling, Beata helps those who are gender-questioning, but uncertain if or how to proceed, and wish to explore their gender identity and options.   She also offers ongoing psychological support to those undergoing hormonal and social transition.

Family members, partners and friends of transgender people can be assisted in becoming better informed, more able to cope and support their loved ones through the challenges of physical emotional and social gender transition.

Everyone referred by their GP with a Mental Health Care Plan will be bulk-billed, as a way of introducing Beata’s services to the Bendigo Region, after 17 years of full-time private practice in the Inner (North Fitzroy) and Outer Eastern (Ringwood) Melbourne.
